June 7-9, 2019

“Let us build a house where love can dwell.”

St. Michael’s volunteers: men, women, and teens, along with 300 others from 6 local parishes gathered for a weekend in June to build the frame of a duplex home for Habitat for Humanity. Even Cardinal Cupich swung a hammer to help! In the spirit of Renew My Church families of faith gathered at St. George’s parking lot where the sun shone on the construction and everyone smiled while working together.

CHICAGO (CBS) – Hundreds of volunteers from seven south suburban parishes put in a little hard labor Saturday, June 8, 2019 to help out Habitat for Humanity.
