PAINT NIGHT AT ST. BERNARD’S TO BENEFIT WATERLEAF WOMEN’S CENTER
JOIN US On Friday, March 22 at 7 PM at St. Bernard’s for an evening of fun and excitement while learning to paint a masterpiece and help to save babies at Waterleaf Women’s Center.
St. Bernard’s Respect Life group is sponsoring a fun event where you will receive your own canvas and paints and be instructed by Fr. Thomas Loya, renowned artist and pastor of Annunciation Church in Homer Glen. Fr. Loya has created a unique painting (above) to be copied by each participant. Refreshments will be served to stimulate creative juices. Refreshments and help are being provided by the Men’s Club, CCW and Peace & Social Justice. Supplies are being supported by the Knights of Columbus.
The cost is just $45 with all proceeds going to support Waterleaf Women’s Center building fund. Waterleaf is a premiere life-affirming women’s center in the Joliet Diocese and is building a new clinic and education center directly adjacent to the Planned Parenthood in Aurora (That PP center is the 3rd largest abortion center in the country). The new Waterleaf center will expand its capacity to provide pregnancy & STD testing, ultrasounds, counseling, ongoing continuing education and help, and much more. Come join the fun, create a masterpiece, help a great cause and save more babies.
Advance registration is required. Reserve your easel and paints on line at http://www.byzantinecatholic.com/paint-night or purchase tickets before or after all Masses at St. Bernard’s on March 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17.
