OCTOBER 2025 (PICTURES) – Students in Grades 3 through 8 of our Parish School and Religious Education Program, who said YES to God’s call to serve in the parish Lector Ministry, were commissioned by Fr. Frank. He expressed gratitude for each YES to serve in ministry, shared guidance, and gave a blessing. He gave each student their ministry nametag, which includes the prayer all pray at the start of each monthly lector training session and prior to proclaiming God’s Word at YPLW (Young People’s Liturgy of the Word) at Sunday’s 9:30 AM Holy Mass…
God of goodness and blessing, fill us with Your Holy Spirit. May we bring Your written Word to life. Guide us as we seek to serve You as student lectors for St. Michael’s Parish. Help us to respond generously to the needs of others. May Your Word transform the hearts and minds of all who hear it proclaimed. May our lives reflect Your Word. Through Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Thank you to Susan O’Connell for all the time and work to prepare all materials and schedule all Student Lectors for Parish, SMS, and RE Masses and prayer services.
