Schoenstatt Women Gathering in Orland Park
The next Schoenstatt Women of Orland Park meeting will be at St. Michael Parish from 9:30 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, September 19, in the Ministry Room East. All women are welcome to attend!
We will be praying the Rosary and discussing highlights from the first part of Joseph Engling’s biography. Engling discovered the “fire of mission zeal” and had the courage to face life’s surprises and difficulties after making his Covenant of Love with the Blessed Mother.
A witness testimony from a Schoenstatt Women member: ” A Covenant of Love is given freely out of Love. It instills a deeper relationship with Mary by our love for her and her love for us. Mary’s intention is to lead me to love Jesus and help me see the sacrifices he made for me. I have had a close relationship with the Blessed Mother all my life as I grew up close to her shrine, and the rosary was part of my daily life. After I joined Schoenstatt and was blessed with a Home Shrine, now this was my chance to bring the Blessed Mother back into my home with a visible sign. It lets my children and grandchildren see that Mary is part of my daily life. Through the Covenant of Love, I can give back to Mary by bringing her everything to the Capital of Grace. Mary helps us open our eyes to the needs of others, focus outward, and become useful instruments in her hands.”
