Sisters of Mercy – Book Sale

Dear Parishioners of St. Michael – Greetings!

Now that we are well into Ordinary Time in our Church Calendar year, we want to share with you that we, Sisters of Mercy, have been the recipients of some 20 boxes of new spiritual and other books from our now-closed religious bookstore in California.

For anyone interested in your own, or others’, spiritual and faith growth, you are asked to consider purchasing one or more of these books for yourself or as a gift for another.

Books range in price from $1.00 to $10.00 at most, and payment can be made in one of two ways: Cash or check made out to “Chicago Area Associates.” Proceeds will be used for the Sisters of Mercy’s many ministries for those in most need.

Some of these are: Mercy Focus on Haiti, Mercy Beyond Borders, Mercy Housing, Support of Migrants, Mother McAuley High School, and Saint Xavier University.

The sale of books will be after Masses on Saturday, October 17 and October 18. If invited, we can also come to other parish group meetings. If you have any questions, please call Sister Carol Mucha at 708-297-4232 or email at cmucharsm5@gmail.com, or contact Sister Carol Mucha at Mercy Circle at 773-253-3713.

Thank you kindly,
Sister Carol Mucha, RSM and Mercy Associates
