Cherub and Children's Choirs

Music Ministries

Our Children’s Choir program is divided into two groups: Cherub Choir (2nd and 3rd graders) and Children’s Choir (4th thru 7th graders).

The Cherub Choir is a training program to develop interest in young children (grades 2 and 3) to share the gift of singing. Rehearsals are usually on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.

The Children’s Choir consists of children’s voices (grades 4 thru 7) who sing occasionally for Sunday worship and at other occasions. Rehearsals are usually on Thursday from 4:30 to 5:45 PM.

No experience is necessary – only a joy of singing is required!

Each group rehearses regularly and sings at several weekend masses during the school year. We also combine the choirs to sing on Christmas Day, Easter Sunday, Catholic Schools Week, First Eucharist and other special liturgies. A highlight of the choir program is the nativity musical in December where the children put their singing, acting and dancing skills on display! New members are always welcome!
