AUGUST 6 AND 13, 2022 (PICTURES) – Thank you so much to the Bordelon, Drzonek, and Withgotte families of our parish for helping on Saturdays, August 6 and 13, 2022 to help get food to the hungry. Thank you for helping to pick up the donations from Trader Joe’s in Orland Park and delivering them to St Stanislaus Parish in Posen (15-20 min drive) where “Pro Labore Dei – Feed My Lambs” gives groceries to many hungry families. We loaded then delivered and unloaded the boxes, sorted and organized the food, created a bag for each of many families in need, and added a beautiful bouquet of flowers to each bag to uplift the family even more knowing that we are serving our Lord by feeding His children in need puts a huge smile on our faces and in our hearts. Thank You dear Lord for this opportunity to serve, honor, and glorify You!
AUGUST 21, 2022 (PICTURES) – St. Michael Parish, please keep in prayer a child named Isaac, who is already discerning the priesthood. He practices “church” at home often and comes with his family to help Pro Labore Dei as they feed God’s hungry families. Isaac walks around all volunteers, praying for everyone. Thank you to the Kocinski and Gallagher Families of our parish who helped today to deliver, sort, and bag lots of donations from Trader Joe’s in Orland Park for Pro Labore Dei. Ann DeAngelis, the Lord’s faithful servant as leader of this local chapter of Pro Labore Dei, leads all in sincere, strong, trusting in God prayer before giving groceries to hungry families. Tony DeAngelis, who has served this mission alongside his wife Ann for 17 years, bows in prayerful reverence to God. Thank you, with all those two words can express, to St Michael parishioners Peggy Flood and Tricia Cruz who have been angels on earth for months helping weekly to support the Pro Labore Dei’s mission to feed the hungry.
