FEBRUARY 18 AND MARCH 1, 2025 (PICTURES) – Eighty children from our parish school and religious education program received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time last weekend. Many of the children’s parents, siblings and grandparents who attended the Liturgy also went to confession. We are grateful for our Celebrant Fr. Daniel Villalobos; for Fr. Geofrey Andama and the four visiting priests who served; and for SMS 2nd Grade Teachers and RE Catechists for guiding God’s children and serving at the Liturgy. We also thank our student lectors, and as Fr. Daniel shared, the parents of these 2nd Graders who are keeping their promise to God and guiding their child to our Lord. We keep in prayer these children and all of us, that we will return to this precious sacrament of penance as often as needed to receive God’s mercy and much needed grace for our soul. We also pray in gratitude to our Lord for His great love and mercy, and for the treasured gifts of our Faith and His Sacraments.
