Multi-Parish Home Build Mission Project – Sign-Up Information

“Let us build a house where love can dwell” – Date of Mission on June 21 and 22 at Incarnation / St. Terrence Parish – we will do more than build a house. We will come together as a faith community. We will pray, laugh, renew old friendships and build new relationships.

May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

The Association of Catholic Health Ministers and St. Michael Parish Mental Health Awareness Ministry invite everyone to pray a novena during May for people with mental illnesses and their families, using the novena developed by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). According to the USCCB, the Novena reflects on a theme related to mental health or a particular population significantly affected by mental health challenges. It offers nine initial entry points for people to prayerfully approach the topic of mental health, using a “Pray, Learn, Act” structure.

Join the St. Michael Choirs on a Pilgrimage to Span

St. Michael Parish is joining with Ascension Church and St. Edmund Church in Oak Park to see many sacred holy sites, cities, and music concerts in some of Spain’s most revered churches – Join Peter’s Way Tours and the Chicago Pilgrimage Choir, led by David Anderson and Michael Silhavy, on an 11-day choir tour to Spain! We will visit many churches and monasteries where our music will reverberate in sacred spaces.

Eucharistic Adoration

The Adoration Chapel, located at the southwest end of the Narthex, is open for daily Eucharistic Adoration: Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8:30 PM, Saturday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Young Peoples’ Liturgy of the Word

Every Sunday throughout the year (except Palm Sunday and Easter), children of the parish (for all Pre-K through 4th Graders) are invited to participate in the Young Peoples’ Liturgy of the Word at the 9:30 AM Mass.

Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet

Join in praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Rosary in Church: Monday through Friday after the 8 AM Morning Mass and Saturday after the 8:30 AM Morning Mass.
