Join a Choir!

Join our St. Michael Music Ministry – The time has come – church choir will be back soon, and we are ready to raise the roof with joyful song! Now is the perfect moment to join your voice with ours for the unmatched jubilation of singing together in praise. We’ve got some inspiring music lined up – favorites old and new, moving pieces for liturgy, and maybe even a few surprises! Let’s make a Joyful Noise! The Sound of God’s Love!

The Seven Sisters Apostolate

The Seven Sisters Apostolate, founded in St. Paul, MN, ten years ago, is called to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest – a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ. A Seven Sisters group begins when at least seven women respond to a call to the mission of the apostolate. This generous commitment of one hour per week of prayer is asked for a period of one year, but can remain open-ended in time as each individual discerns her call to continue.

Young Peoples’ Liturgy of the Word

Every Sunday throughout the year (except Palm Sunday and Easter), children of the parish (for all Pre-K through 4th Graders) are invited to participate in the Young Peoples’ Liturgy of the Word at the 9:30 AM Mass.

Parents and Tots Playgroup

Our St. Michael Parents and Tots Playgroup encourages parents and children from newborn to 5-years-old to join us for fellowship and play most Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in May and June at different parks.

Schoenstatt Women Gathering

Schoenstatt Women Orland Park are reading about the beginnings of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement of the Catholic Church that took root in Germany at the beginning of the 20th Century and spread internationally during and following WWII. We are also learning how this Marian Spirituality has formed great Saints and Martyrs! May’s Monthly Meeting will be held at St. Michael Parish from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on May 16.
