Please join us for our next meeting on Monday, January 20 at 7 PM in Ministry Room West – The St. Michael Pro-Life Ministry is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to protecting life at all stages – from conception to natural death – and we welcome new members who are interested in joining us in our mission.
9 Days for Life – January 16-24
9 Days for Life Novena and Annual Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children
Since the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973, ushered in the nationwide reign of abortion on-demand, Catholics and Christians across the country have come together to pray during January for the protection of children, women and families from the tragedy of abortion. Won’t you join us?
January 22 is observed as the “Annual Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.” On this day, please pray the Our Father, three Hail Marys’ and a Glory Be for the protection of the unborn.
9 Days for Life Novena – Join Catholics nationwide in prayer for the 9 Days for Life Novena that begins on Thursday, January 16. Download the novena or get the daily prayers and reflections at https://www.respectlife.org/9-days-signup.

About our Pro-Life Ministry
Supporting Life from Conception to Natural Death – Our St. Michael Pro-Life Ministry is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to protecting life at all stages.
Pro-Life is about valuing and guarding all human life from conception to natural death. Our ministry participates in Forty Days for Life, prayer vigils, rosary rallies, Pro-Life Masses, lobbying in Springfield, and publicizing pro-life legislation. Each October, we head our parish’s Baby Bottle Project to help fund the Women’s Center, which offers alternatives to abortion.
St. Michael’s Pro-Life Ministry fully agrees with Pope St. John Paul II’s sentiments:
“Respect for life requires that science and technology should always be at the service of man and his integral development. Society as a whole must respect, defend and promote the dignity of every human person, at every moment and in every condition of that person’s life.” – Pope John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life), 1995
