Saving Our Forest Preserves

Saturday, May 18, 2024 will be a great day for you to join us. We start at 8:30 am and work until 12 Noon. Meet up is in the parking lot just East of Kean Avenue, just South of Rt. 83 / Cal Sag Rd. We will be removing Invasive Species.

Please make sure to wear sturdy shoes for hiking off trail, long pants, socks that go up over the ankles. Long sleeves are good; woody plants can be scratchy.

LOCATION – Cook County Forest Preserve, Palos Park Woods, North — East of Kean Avenue, South of Rt. 83 / Cal Sag Rd.

DAY AND TIME – Saturday, May 18 from 8:30 am to 12 Noon

Bring your own water bottle; snacks will be provided. Tools and gloves will be provided; you can bring your own gloves.

Kids under 8 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult.
