Join us on Friday, February 7 at 7 PM at St. Michael Church in Orland Park for a magnificent celebration of beloved composer Maurice Ravel’s 150th birthday! As part of the St. Michael Concert Series, we are thrilled to host pianist Natalia Kazaryan, performing an all-Ravel program featuring selections from the composer’s most iconic piano pieces including Jeux d’eau, Pavane pour une infante défunte, and Gaspard de la nuit. This recital is part of her North American tour featuring the complete cycle of Ravel’s piano music.
A graduate of the Paris Conservatory, where she studied with a protégé of Ravel himself, Ms. Kazaryan is well-known as an expert interpreter of his works. She has been praised by The New York Sun for her “prodigious ability” and Nice-Matin for her “fascinating” and “elegant” artistry. With her deep connection to Ravel’s artistry and an international career gracing prestigious venues, Ms. Kazaryan promises an unforgettable evening.
Admission is free, with donations graciously accepted to support the ongoing mission of the St. Michael Concert Series.
