The next Schoenstatt Women of Orland Park meeting will be at St. Michael Parish from 9:30 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, September 19, in the Ministry Room East. All women are welcome to attend! We will be praying the Rosary and discussing highlights from the first part of Joseph Engling’s biography. Engling discovered the “fire of mission zeal” and had the courage to face life’s surprises and difficulties after making his Covenant of Love with the Blessed Mother.
All students of the Parish in Grades 3 through 8 are invited to attend the next Altar Server Training on Wednesday, September 23, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM or from 4 to 5:30 PM.
The St. Michael Mental Health Awareness Ministry is a spiritual support group intended for family and / or friends of persons living with mental and addiction disease / afflictions. We are community of faith offering help and hope. We share our lived experiences and mental health resources we have utilized. We practice Holy Listening and do not try to “fix” anyone’s problems.
The Faithful Friends Women’s Group of St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Parish is hosting a Women’s Retreat on Saturday, October 3 – The Growing in Grace Women’s Retreat will begin with Mass, followed by a light breakfast. The speaker will conduct getting-to-know-you activities prior to their presentation. Following lunch, there will be breakout sessions that revolve around self-care, faith, and personal growth. It should be a beautiful day filled with faith, friendship and rejuvenation.
Join us on the Second Tuesday of the Month for a Eucharistic Holy Hour, Meditation, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Benediction, led by Fr. Louis Mboe. You do not have to stay for the whole time.
Run with the Nuns 5K is sponsored by the Mount Assisi Alumnae, and all race proceeds benefit the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King and the Mount Assisi Ministry.
