Mental Health Awareness Prayer Gathering

The St. Michael Mental Health Awareness Ministry is a spiritual support group intended for family and / or friends of persons living with mental and addiction disease / afflictions. We are community of faith offering help and hope. We share our lived experiences and mental health resources we have utilized. We practice Holy Listening and do not try to “fix” anyone’s problems.

Lenten Fish Fry

$15 a person includes: Fried fish, French Fries, Coleslaw, Water/Pop, Dessert, and Mac & Cheese (alternative dinner entree option). All tickets must be purchased in advance. They will be sold before and after weekend Masses in the Narthex. All profits will go to the Generation to Generation Campaign.

Joyful Again! Retreat and Workshop

There is a Retreat and Workshop for Widows and Widowers called Joyful Again! this Spring, it will be held on April 11-12, 2026 at St. Mary’s Retreat House, Lemont, IL. If you are widowed and still struggling with the loss or feel stuck in one spot, please consider attending the Joyful Again! Retreat and Workshop on April 11-12. Overnight accommodations are available.

Youth Mission Trip

Youth Ministry will be traveling to Charleston, West Virginia to work for Habitat for Humanity this summer – We will be going from June 7 to June 13, 2026 – The information meeting was on Wednesday, February 11 in the Teen Room at 7 PM – All Freshmen through Seniors are welcome to participate!

Multi-Parish Home Build – Habitat for Humanity

This Year’s Multi-Parish Home Build event will be held at St. Michael on June 12 and 13, 2026 – On Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, volunteers from at least 7 parishes in the Chicago Archdiocese Vicariate V will come together at St. Michael Parish to build stud walls that will be used by Habitat for Humanity to build houses for low-income families – We will need volunteers for a multitude of duties for this event!

Vacation Bible School

Saint Michael Parish will hold a Vacation Bible School: “Rainforest Falls – Exploring the Nature of God”, from June 22 to June 26, 2026 – The kids will explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s a safe place in life’s storms. They will discover who God is and how to stay rooted in His love.
